Cuna Communications, LLC distributes and resells new, name-brand technology and telecommunications hardware, software, and supplies. CunaComm® serves Federal, State, and Local Government, Prime Government Contractors, Higher Education, and the Bell Operating Companies. Our headquarters are in Houston, Texas, so please don't be alarmed by our slow rate of speech. We work much faster than we talk.

History
Cuna Communications, LLC was founded by Mike Hagerty. He is sole owner and president of the company.
Mike served with the U.S. Army for over 9 years in Infantry, Operations & Intelligence, and Logistics. After leaving the service in 1979, Mike obtained his BBA in 1982 and his MBA in 1984 from the University of Houston while working at Texbrook Industries, a Division of Platt-Hardin, Inc.
Texbrook manufactures a wide variety of telecommunications equipment and hardware, so over the next 23 years, Mike gained invaluable real-world experience helping manage a successful small business in a tough and turbulent industry.
In October 2003, Mike organized Cuna Communications. The company is named in honor of the Cuna Indians living on the San Blas Islands, located just off the Atlantic coast of the Republic of Panama. It’s the birthplace of Mike’s wife, Romelia.
In 2006, Mike’s daughter, Michelle Hagerty, joined the company. Michelle is a graduate of Colorado College. She handles marketing and sales operations in the Western United States from our branch office in Colorado Springs. She is also project manager for our online catalog store.
On a personal note, Michelle is a nationally-ranked Judo player and she is training hard to earn a spot on the 2008 U.S. Olympic Judo Team. Please wish her good luck and remember this date… 8/8/08!
